Senior Health and Safety Specialist

Salary Info: $12,842.00 – $15,609.00 Monthly

The Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (Sr. EHSS) is highly experienced in construction safety and would assist the Workplace Health and Safety department with overseeing safety specification compliance, ensure contractors follow applicable environmental and safety construction regulation such as Cal/OSHA, EPA, BAAD etc. and provide a consistent field presence to ensure safety accountability.  The Sr. EHSS would take proactive measures for the development and implementation of a comprehensive contractor safety program, integrating safety into the RFP/Bidding Review Process, contractor safety orientations, development and tracking of project safety metrics, etc.

The Los Angeles Community College District is accepting applications for the position of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Specialist. This position implements and coordinates environmental and occupational health, safety, hazardous materials management, and assigned emergency preparedness services and activities and develops and recommends procedures and standards.

Salary: $8,859.68 – $10,975.59/mo; $106,316.16 – $131,707.08/yr (based on a full-time, 12-mo position)
