Regional Manager – Process Safety Management

Cal/OSHA is seeking a Regional Manager to help lead the Process Safety Management (PSM) Unit.  The PSM Unit is responsible for inspecting refineries and chemical plants that handle large quantities of toxic and flammable materials. Health and safety standards enforced by the PSM Unit are intended to prevent catastrophic explosions, fires, and releases of dangerous chemicals.

One position is available in either Concord or Santa Ana.

Occupational Health and Safety Officer

$88,212.71 – $123,509.91 Annually, plus Benefits

POSITION:
Under general direction, the Occupational Safety Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing agency practices and policies related to Occupational Health and Safety for the General Services Agency, including the Illness and Injury Prevention Program, OSHA compliance, and other related state and federal regulated programs.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in occupational safety; will possess strong oral and written communication skills with significant experience interacting directly with frontline workers in the field; experience developing and conducting training; comprehensive knowledge of OSHA and Cal-OSHA regulations; and proven ability to identify health and safety hazards and proactively design accident prevention measures.

Admin Coordinator, Workers Comp, Safety, & Risk

Monterey Bay, CA

Hourly Compensation Range: $28.27- $34.62 USD per hour.

Liaise between the employee and workers’ compensation carriers and medical providers to assure organized and efficient management of medical care to return injured employees back to work as soon as medically and administratively possible.  Administer designated safety programs such as office ergonomics and DMV Driver Pull program.
