- One employee suffered burns and was airlifted to a medical center for treatment.

- Authorities are investigating the source of the release.

OSHA seeks $1 million+ in penalties following New Jersey fatality
- The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a New Jersey vegetable processing company for “willfully and repeatedly” violating safety standards.
- The agency began an investigation in May 2025 after receiving a report of a fatality at Taylor Farms New Jersey in Swedesboro
- The fatality allegedly occurred due to improper lockout/tagout procedures.
- OSHA cited Taylor Farms for 16 alleged violations and proposed penalties of $1,125.484. A temporary employment agency also was cited in the incident.
