Subcontractor killed in Colorado trench collapse
A 59-year-old Longmont, Colordao man killed in a trench collapse this past week at a Greeley construction site founded the company that was subcontracted to pour concrete when the trench collapsed on January 14. It’s unclear whether high winds played a role, but there reportedly were sustained 30 mph north-northwest winds blowing at the time of the incident, gusting up to 51 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Man suffers head, leg injuries after fall from suburban Boston condo roof

Watchdog reports ICE failing to prevent employment of unauthorized workers
The Homeland Security Inspector General identified multiple problems with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Worksite Enforcement program, which is intended to prevent businesses from employing people unauthorized to work in the United States. Michigan health authorities handing out free masks
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is distributing 3.5 million KN95 masks to 201 sites across the state as part of its Mask Up, Mask Right campaign.
