Energy company employee electrocuted while repairing damaged line

Fed-OSHA is investigating the fatal electrocution of an energy company employee in Green Bay, Wisconsin that occurred as a crew attempted to fix an electrical line that had been struck and damaged by an excavator at a local business. Massachusetts life care facility fined $21K for COVID violations

Fed-OSHA has has proposed more than $21,000 in penalties against a Tennessee-based life care center operator, for alleged violations of respiratory protection and record-keeping standards at the company’s facility in Nashoba Valley, Massachusetts. The facility is under a separate investigation by the state attorney general following an outbreak last spring that killed at least 16 patients and one employee. Wicked Local
