Oregon OSHA administrator resigns to take job with Washington state
Oregon OSHA Administrator Michael Wood will leave his post at the end of this month to take a job with the State of Washington, the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services has announced. Wood has served as administrator of Oregon OSHA for 16 years. Before joining the State of Oregon in his current position, he worked for the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries for more than two decades. KTVZ (Bend, Ore.)
Trench collapse kills Minnesota construction worker
A 48-year-old Carlton, Minnesota man died September 28, on an apartment building construction site when a trench partially collapsed on him. He was pronounced dead prior to air transport. MNOSHA is investigating. Pine Journal (Duluth, Minn.)

Wyoming: Longtime news anchor fired over vaccine mandate
A longtime Cheyenne, Wyoming news anchor was fired from her job over the weekend due to her refusal to get vaccinated against the coronavirus and her exemption request was denied. Kerri Hayden of KGWN-TV said that while she was neither for nor against the vaccine, she believed Americans had the right to decide what was best for them when it came to medical decisions.
