Nearly 690 officers and civilian employees at police departments and sheriff’s offices around the country have tested positive for COVID-19, according to an Associated Press survey of more than 40 law enforcement agencies, mostly in major cities. Virus impacts farms, workers and food packaging
Coronavirus has affected restaurants, food suppliers (primarily to restaurants), H-2A farm workers coming across the US borders, farm employees, food and food packaging and school meal programs. OR-OSHA flooded with coronavirus-related complaints
Oregon OSHA says it has received more than 1,000 complaints about employers accused of ignoring the state’s remain-at-home order. The agency’s public information officer says the most frequent complaints include failing to implement social distancing practices, lack of cleaning supplies to clean surfaces and facilities, and lack of means to wash or sanitize hands.
