Six workers were killed when a construction lift crashed at a project in Yulin, China according to local building authorities. Fed-OSHA releases new guidance for rideshare, taxi, and car service workers

Fed-OSHA last week issued guidance for the car and ride service industry to reduce risk of exposure to coronavirus for its workers, although many such drivers are independent contractors and not covered under the agency’s jurisdiction. The guidance includes some of the usual advice including masking, disinfecting, and encouraging sick workers to stay home but also makes a few novel suggestions, writes attorney Gillian G. W.
