Forklift accident injures former policeman at Massachusetts marina
Fed-OSHA is investigating after a former Haverhill, Massachusetts policeman suffered serious facial injuries in a forklift accident at a marina in Haverhill. No Fed-OSHA fines issued in Maine mill explosion

Report: 74 killed on the job in New Jersey in 2019
An annual report released on Tuesday shows 74 New Jersey employees were killed on the job in 2019, and 69,000 suffered reportable injuries. The analysis is based on the most recent complete data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and finds the rate of fatal job injuries in New Jersey in 2019 was 1.8 per 100,000, far better than the national rate of 3.5 per 100,000. Fed-OSHA targets restaurants for COVID-19 inspections
With many full-service restaurants returning to indoor dining, along with increased capacity limits and other state-mandated restrictions being lifted, restaurants may see more patrons and employees returning to the workforce. Minimizing distraction hazards when driving
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has reported that 14 percent of all motor vehicle crashes in 2018 involved a distracted driver, resulting in 2,841 deaths.
