Oregon OSHA distributes masks to protect outdoor workers against smoke hazards

Oregon OSHA is distributing hundreds of thousands of KN-95 and N-95 masks to employers to help them comply with the agency’s new temporary rules to protect employees from smoke hazards. Employers must make these masks available for voluntary use when the air quality index exceeds 101, which is unhealthy for sensitive groups: people with lung and heart problems; children younger than 18 and adults older than 65; pregnant women; and people with diabetes.
